Overview
Managing various smart systems and household appliances often requires juggling multiple apps, each with its own interface and functionality. The lack of integration between these apps can lead to a disjointed user experience, making it challenging to achieve seamless and coordinated control over all aspects of a smart home.
Problem Statement
How might we simplify and streamline the management of multiple smart systems and household appliances to reduce complexity and inefficiency for users?
Research

Plan
Develop an app that integrates all smart systems into a single, user-friendly interface for easy management and control of household appliances.
User Interviews
For my initial research, I distributed a survey that garnered 36 responses. I analyzed the results to develop targeted questions for user interviews. I then conducted interviews with 12 participants to gain insights into their home conditions and needs. This diverse group included both renters and homeowners, with ages ranging from 20 to 62, and covered a spectrum of technology proficiency from novice to expert.
